This is my latest quilt. Lowell, Arizona, is a neighborhood in my town of Bisbee, Arizona. It is a surprising pocket of crumbling buildings that are a snapshot of our American past. Although the image looks old, it is a scene from 2019.
This photo is by Stacie Moats. It is 31 inches high x 43 inches wide. I used raw-edge applique and Derwent inktense for shading. It is part of the 4 Common Corners' exhibition of "The Way We Were".
