Traveling a barely discernible road at night with only the stars shining above you is one of the many pleasures of living in rural southeastern Arizona. For this piece, I used a very limited palate of black and white. My favorite fabric is a black velvet I used for the surrounding ground. This quilt is 16 inches wide, 42 inches long. Photo is by Stacie Moats.
